You have built your control panel, machine, or instrument; and now it’s time to identify all of those important buttons, switches, and gadgets. That’s where we come in. We’ll use a variety of materials and imprinting methods to turn your identification list into durable, long lasting tags giving your hard work the perfect finishing touch.
These tags are produced from durable two ply laminate plastic in a variety of colors. The most common color combination is white plastic that engraves in black or black plastic that engraves in white. We will cut and engrave these tags to your specifications and finished them with either double faced adhesive backing or punching holes for your application.
Push button tags, sometimes referred to as “legend plates” are custom cut to fit your panel buttons. A typical push button tag is 2.25 inches square with either an .875 inch or 1.219 inch diameter hole cutout. The text is engraved per your instructions.
Send us your custom panel drawings and we will laser cut and engrave them to your specs. Be it a small 2 inch by 4 inch plate with special cutouts or a large 18 inch by 36 inch machine panel with extensive instructions, we turn your drawing into a professionally finished piece.
With over 20 years of screen printing experience, Hoosier Badge has imprinted a broad range of customer supplied industrial and commercial parts. We have printed a variety of substrates including stainless steel, coated and non-coated aluminum, plastics, and glass.
By using either our screen printing or sublimation (full color) imprinting processes, we will create a unique identification plate that can be both functional and a great promotional piece for your company. Screen printing, a process of applying ink directly onto the surface, is an economical choice when you are needing a large quantity of plates with the same artwork and your imprint is one to two colors. Sublimation, a full color ink process that encapsulates the image below the top surface of the aluminum, is recommended when your quantity needs are smaller and your artwork has multi-colors or complex shading. As with our engraved panel tags, we can finish these plates by applying double faced adhesive backing or punching holes in the corners.
If your application requires an imprint to be etched directly into the part’s surface, we have you covered! With our years of engraving experience coupled with the multiple laser and rotary machines that we have available, we have the expertise and capacity to meet your marking needs. Engraving is a great method of imprinting parts made from metal, acrylic, glass and two ply laminate plastic materials.
