Founded in Indianapolis, Indiana in the late 1950’s, Hoosier Badge has been providing a wide range of quality personalized products to Businesses, Industries, Educational Institutions and Individuals for nearly 60 years. Using hand pantograph engraving equipment, our early years focused largely on producing engraved, 2-ply laminate plastic name badges, office wall and desk nameplates, and identification tagging to central Indiana companies, schools and associations. Purchased by an Indianapolis awards and recognition company in the 1980’s, we began selling a full line of personalized plaques, trophies, ribbons, medallions and executive gifts. During this time, we increased our production capacity and versatility by taking advantage of the advances in computer technology by replacing the older pantograph style engraving machines with platforms guided by desktop computers. A screen printing department was also added, allowing us to enhance our engraved products with color graphics. Hoosier Badge’s sales steadily grew in the 1990’s as it expanded into the national market offering name badges, awards, signs and identification products to the property management, food service and building material industries. This decade also saw us expand our screen printing business to include industrial parts printing for manufacturing customers. In more recent years, we have added two new and equally exciting marking technologies to our capabilities, which are Laser Engraving and Sublimation Printing.  Our laser engraving machines, utilizing a graphic based platform, have met the demand for products needing engraved graphics and custom shape cutouts. Sublimation printing, an ink marking method using a combination of heat and pressure to imprint full color graphics, has also become a very important and popular imprinting option for our customers.  Both new technologies have spurred the creation of many new materials and substrates, further enhancing the final personalized products that we are able to offer to our customers. Growth, marketplace demands, and changes in ownership, have all been contributing factors to our production facility’s four relocations throughout the last 60 years.  In 2015, Hoosier Badge was purchased and became a division of Masson Inc., a 100 year old Indianapolis based manufacturing company.  This led to our most recent move in January of 2016, when we relocated to the near east side of downtown Indianapolis. Many of our products pertain to several aspects of your business, organization, or group. Be it name badges and recognition awards for employees and staff, identification tagging and industrial screen printing for your manufactured products, or identification and directional signage for your office/building.  We would like to be your source for personalized products. Please feel free to contact us via email or directly by phone.  We look forward to discussing your needs and earning your business.
